Singapore love
Quest had the honor and privilege of being invited to Singapore to take part in a dance showcase called The Big Groove. It was one of the most amazing experiences that Quest has been a part of and also one of the most amazing experiences in my life. I still can’t wrap my head around it quite yet but since Quest is going to be busy, I need to get this post up or I will never do it. My solution? to put it in list form.
ready?
here it goes…

O SCHOOL !
- They are a dance school in Singapore that hosted us while we were there
- Not only were they such amazing hosts, they’re just down to earth, hardworking, wickedly talented people. They inspire me in many ways.
- Because we had a longer trip than usual, I got a chance to talk to a handful of them one on one which was rare on these trips. I hold those memories fondly.
Dancers !
- There were dancers there representing Japan, Indonesia, Cambodia, Taiwan, Singapore, and us from America
- I haven’t seen many dancers from Asia besides the foreign dancers that come train in Hollywood so I had no idea what it was like. But it seriously blew my mind. Watching them tech live and then perform through the TV was so much fun.
- A special shout out to Wrecking Crew Orchestra. You guys are something else. Its hard for me to express how dope they are, you just have to look them up!
- O SCHOOL. They hosted everyone, produced a show and then closed it with STYLE!

Singapore !
- Its rare for Quest to be able to roam a city that we’re performing in because usually the schedule is so packed but this time was different. There was lots of time for us to walk around the area close to our hotel and we even sometimes taxied out and ventured around
- the food is ridiculous. I missed how good fresh fruit was in Taiwan, and this is just like it. There’s street vendors every where and open till freakin forever. My favorites were roasted duck and rice and then the crab soup dumplings!
- The city is clean, the food is awesome, the shopping was everywhere, the people were nice and there’s lots to see and do… there’s not that much more I can ask from anywhere that I visit.
Its 5am and this is really all I can think of to put down for this. I’m sad that I can’t really put into words all that I feel about this trip but a little glad because now it’s something I can hold onto as my own and remember by feeling instead of words or photos.
but don’t worry there are photos (from the powershot)!
