super HUMAN

*inspired by Anika at badmutha

Don’t cry because it connotates vulnerability and weakness.  Or, don’t eat too much junk food, it’s unhealthy and bad for you.  Or, don’t watch trash on TV because it’s waste of time and will rot your brain.  You can’t possibly achieve it so don’t try.  You can’t try it because it’s dangerous.  You can’t do it because it’s bad for you.

Not to say that there are not things that are unattainable, or bad for you, or dangerous. Many things that we are advised against doing or simply not allowed to do are to protect us from failing to achieve our main goal in life which is to succeed.  To make sure we don’t stray from a path of a safe life with a solid foundation and that in the end of life, we’ll be happy life living citizens of the human race.  That’s all good and great except for the fact that in order to singlely focused on achieving that happy place and walk only in the peaks of the mountains, we have to stay away from the other 90 percent of experiances.  And who’s to say that from the time you were born to the time that you leave, the peaks is the road a person is to travel in order to be successful in life. And that success in life is dictated by where you end up.

The sum of one’s life that one can look back on and calculate and review and evaluate is the feelings one is left with after anything.  How one remembers high school, or birthdays, or friends is by how one feels about it through experiences.  If that were the case, then wouldn’t it make sense to want to experience it all?  It’s been argued that a person would never know what it is to be happy if the person was never sad.  So in that argument, it would make sense that in a life full of peaks and valleys, a person has to have walked both paths, walked up and down those paths in order to understand it.

Most people do these things normally, but it’s another thing to be aware of whats happening.  And then another completely different thing when one strays from the moderated life, completely aware that the purpose of doing so is to just experiance the sake of living as much life as possible.  Awareness.

Its a tall order for us regular humans, but it doesnt mean it’s out of reach with a little effort.  to live.

so…

cry

don’t cry

cry too much

eat a little junk food

don’t eat junk food

eat too much junk food

make goals and fail

make goals and succeed

make goals and then ignore it all together

drink a little

don’t drink

drink too much for too long

be aware of whats past the moderated line, or at least be aware of where the lines are

taste past the tip of your tongue.

good luck.
